Programmable Privacy

Developers should have fine-grained control over public and private state while writing smart contracts and intuitively build privacy-preserving apps without needing to know cryptography.

Decentralization

Privacy for the user should not conflict with transparency for the protocol. From sequencers to provers, we are building a network that is decentralized at every level.

Building in Public

Aztec will launch as an open-source project driven by community contributions. Together, we are building a strong network of infrastructure providers, wallets, and other essential services.

Brief History

Aztec launched with a focus on enabling smart contract developers to seamlessly incorporate private state into their applications. To achieve this vision, our team has trailblazed new technologies that have reshaped the possibilities for building privacy-preserving applications.
